Color.  I never realized how crisp and true it could be until using this lens.  I did no color editing on nearly any of these.  Some of them I simply upped the black level to deal with the direct sunlight and that was all.  They are truly magnificent examples of how the Canon TS-E 45mm f/2.8 can astonish.  Elena and I moved from under an abandoned warehouse to out in the concrete field for the “picnic” version of these shots.  The surroundings of simple and elegantly decaying industrial behemoths around her really adds another layer to the tasteless picnic in the “park”.  These photographs as well as those on “I Was Moved” were from the same day as the “Take Flight” photograph.
